Here are some good tips to make your new dating membership a success:
1. Be active and stay active! Log into your dating account regularly (daily is recommended). Each time you log in, your profile will go to the top of the Searches made by other members (providing you fit their Search criteria).
2. Make the first move and contact as many potential dating partners as you can - even those who don't, at first sight, match up to your idea of the "perfect" partner. In reality, there is no such thing - and you could miss out on meeting someone very special. Then keep logging into your account regularly. Contact all the new members who join - make them feel welcome. It's only an email!
Also make sure you use our dating discussion forum (MotorMouth) and our chat room (ChatterBox) as often as possible. Get your name out there, and let potential dating partners know you're up for a discussion or chat.
3. Spread your wings! Mr or Ms Right may not always live round the corner, or might be a few years older/younger than you originally anticipated. Don't be afraid to look further afield or contact people outside of your "ideal" age range.

6. Stay positive! Dating later in life is really no different to dating when you were a teenager. Remember the disappointments and the knock-backs?
